RADIO SHOW: THE FORK REPORT #USA

Ok this has been by far the BEST and most EXCITING experience in my blogging career!! I was invited by Neil Saavedra of the radio show The Fork Report to talk about Italian food. Obviously I was more than happy to be a guest on his wonderful show and so Saturday, the 21st of June I went live in California on KFI AM 640! Isn’t that exciting or what?!!!
The Fork Report is all about food every Saturday from 2pm-5pm (local time). Just check it out if you can (unfortunately I’m not able in Italy) or follow it via social media: Facebook (The Fork Report) Twitter (@Forkreporter) or Instagram (@forkreporter).
I met Neil over a year ago in Morocco when I was there on a trip and decided to do a cooking class in Marrakech (see here and here my posts about that). He was there also for the cooking class so we chatted and once back in Italy we stayed in touch via email. He is such a neat person and so easy-going and it’s such a pleasure talking with him that it has grown into a friendship.
Now after a year we met again in his studio in Burbank (LA) and had a great time together talking what we both love most…food! It was so much fun. Sharing my love for Italian food on the radio in California is such an honor. I truly hope I was able to inspire the listeners to get into the kitchen and prepare some of my easy, healthy and delicious recipes and taste a bit of Italy in their own homes! And don’t worry, there will be a new tasty recipe on the blog very soon!!
I might get back on the show some other times (I would looooove to!!), we just need to work it out but I’ll keep you updated via my blog of course!
Curious about the radio show and what we talked about?? Below you can listen to the complete interview:

And a small video during the show:

Thanks again Neil for having me on the show. I really had a blast!!
And for all the listeners now or when I went live: Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did 😀
