It’s guilty pleasure time!!! And Nutella is the ultimate guilty pleasure… I can easily eat it straight from the jar with a spoon. I know it’s terrible, but simply too delicious, so I can’t help it. And my love isn’t of great help either here as he can eat it straight from the jar as well!! So our way to protect ourselves it normally to just not buy it…simple as that.
But sometimes we treat ourselves to the deliciousness of this chocolate-hazelnut butter and then we enjoy it to the fullest. I swear that every dessert with Nutella is a great dessert and something I would share with you. That’s why today I share this amazing Nutella Raspberry Trifle. Nutella with red fruits is even more amazing so this dessert is an absolute winner! You so want to try this one!!!
As always, it’s easy to prepare, extremely tasteful…and oh, not so healthy…but hey who cares?! Once every now and then we can also enjoy something not so healthy, right? It was all about balance… Balance, yes!
What is your guilty pleasure??
Nutella Raspberry Trifle
4 small glasses of 5cm (2inch) diameter
80 g // 4/5 cup biscuits (digestives – finely crushed)
20 g // 1 oz // 1,5 tbsp butter
200 g // 1 cup mascarpone (or any cream cheese)
100 g // 1/3 cup Nutella
20 g // 3/4 cup puffed/crisped rice (or farro)
80 g // 1/2 cup fresh raspberries
Slowly melt the butter and mix with the biscuits. Make a layer by covering the bottom of the glasses. Put them in the fridge for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile mix the Nutella and mascarpone and make a second layer. Cover it with a bit of crisped rice and again make a layer of the Nutella-mascarpone mixture. Finish it with a layer of fresh raspberries.
